I agree with you on the slider from Dosey Doe! Also. mama J's was delicious, as was the gelato from Black Walnut Cafe. Great time enjoying the samplings of food, drinks, and dessert. Speaking of dessert, The Sassy Apple saplings of candied apples were great and refreshing.

We love Pallotta's Italian. My husband took me there about 10 years ago for the first time and we have been back, as often as possible. Everything we have ever had on the extensive menu is good but we have our favorites. My hubby loves the number 84 and I love the chicken Pallotta. Chicken with mushrooms, thin pasta and the famous pavia sauce, similar to alfredo but better. I hope that anyone trying Pallotta's will love it as much as we do. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is inviting. Go check it out for yourselves.

I tried the Express once because I loved Katz's so much. But I was very disappointed as well. I will stick to the one downtown - even if I can't go as often.

We used to go regularly and liked it but had lunch there last week after a few month break and thought it was not as good. Corned beef hash was floating in grease though eggs were good. Rueban's sandwich was all sauerkraut and soggy but a friends rice pudding was good.

We go there often due to their Filet Foccacia Sandwich, served with roasted filet strips, a garlic herb aioli, provolone cheese, on Foccacia bread. This sandwich is awesome! Also, we love the Ginger Soy dressing that they use on the seared ahi appetizer, however we get it for our salads. I'll skip the sides and order two side salads so I can have more of this dressing! I also get some dressing to go so I can make a big ass salad at work the next day!
My wife typically gets the sandwich or the sirloin special, however I would say that maybe half the time, we have to send it back to cook longer. We rarely have service issues and of course, love the bread!

I was there last July/August for my first and last visit. My parents were in from Ohio and I work in the area so I thought it would be a great idea to taken them there. They were so not thrilled!

What a great event! Thank you for organizing this. Having an opportunity to sample several new dishes made the experience so much more beneficial! I am DEFINITELY going to be ordering "The Benjamin" and some Dominic's Mud on my next visit to Pallotta's!
